Documentation

Documentation is displayed or easily accessible to teachers, children and families to:

• provide a record of the learning process

• reveal connections between events

• review past experiences

• plan future experiences

• make learning visible to children and families

• honor children's words

• honor children's families

Don't forget technology.  Video recorders, PowerPoint presentations, iPads, digital photo frames and tape recordings are an effective way for teachers to document, communicate and reflect on children's learning.
